Suffolk University yesterday released their latest survey results (10/30-11/1), joining the parade of polling as the Virginia Governor’s race draws to a close. According to Suffolk, Lt. Gov. Ralph Northam (D) leads Republican Ed Gillespie, 47-43%, which falls in line with the preponderance of data. Since October 15th, ten polls have been conducted. Removing the Hampton University study that found Gillespie leading by eight points, and the two Quinnipiac University surveys that found Northam up 14 and 17 percentage points, the average Northam lead is only 3.7 points. The open seat election is next Tuesday. Gov. Terry McAuliffe (D) is ineligible to seek a second term.
