Responding to last week’s RABA Research poll that showed state Rep. David Richardson (D-Miami) falling behind non-profit executive Matt Haggman, the legislator just released his own internal survey research. The two trail former Health & Human Services Secretary Donna Shalala in the open Democratic primary scheduled for August 28th. According to Richardson’s Frederick Polls study (8/6-7; 300 FL-27 likely Democratic primary voters), Shalala leads him 32-20% with Haggman in third at 9% support. Interestingly, the Richardson data actually gives Shalala a stronger advantage than does other recently released public data.
