Another in the far-reaching number of now competitive Republican seats, Rep. George Holding (R-Raleigh) looks to be in much better position as the election draws near even though Democrats appear to be in a more favorable position within the statewide early voting cycle. According to a new Survey USA poll (10/24-28; 565 NC-2 likely voters), Rep. Holding has re-opened a 49-40% lead over former state Rep. Linda Coleman (D-Raleigh).
Apparently, the Holding Campaign’s attack on Coleman for not paying her own taxes has worked. S-USA measures her favorability index at an upside down 34:38%, while the Congressman has a 40:27% positive rating.
