A new Emerson College poll (4/4-7; 371 likely MA Democratic primary voters) finds Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders pulling ahead of former Vice President Joe Biden, 26-23%. But, the bigger story may be the pair running substantially ahead of Sen. Elizabeth Warren (14%) in her own state.
This is a small-sample poll, so the error factor is high, but the survey’s underlying fundamental is consistent with all others. That is, Sen. Sanders and ex-VP Biden are running well ahead of the rest of the pack, but not so far in front as to preclude several contenders of having the potential to close the gap throughout the remainder of this year and into election year 2020.
