Another Virginia Governor’s survey was released yesterday, just a week before the November 7th election. The Washington Post/Schar School of George Mason University (10/26-29; 921 VA likely voters) brings the race back into the common polling realm after Quinnipiac University published its 53-36% spread in Lt. Gov. Ralph Northam’s (D) favor over the weekend. According to the WaPo/Schar data, Mr. Northam’s edge is 49-44% over former Republican National Committee chairman Ed Gillespie (R). This latter result appears to be the more believable, as most political analysts and observers believe that Northam holds only a small lead as the campaign culminates.
