Yesterday, a published Siena College/New York Times poll was released that found Rep. Tom MacArthur (R-Toms River) reversing recent trends and re-taking the lead over former National Security Council staff member Andy Kim (D), 44-40%. Now, we see a Stockton University survey (10/3-10; 546 NJ-3 likely voters) that also finds Rep. MacArthur assuming a small lead. According to this poll, the Congressman posts a slight 47-45% advantage.
In Utah, where the latest Mellman Group campaign poll forecast Rep. Mia Love (R-Saratoga Springs) falling into a 46-47% virtual tie with Salt Lake County Mayor Ben McAdams (D), the new Salt Lake City Tribune Hinckley poll (10/3-11; 403 UT-4 likely voters) confirms the trend with their data showing the two candidates tied at 46% apiece. Despite the Salt Lake City suburban district’s strong Republican voting history, this seat has now become a toss-up.
