Northern Minnesota businessman Stewart Mills (R), who has lost two consecutive close elections to Rep. Rick Nolan (D-Crosby/Duluth), confirms that he is considering running for a third time. Mills only lost by 2,009 votes of more than 356,000 ballots cast in November, but President Trump carried the district by a large 54-39% margin. This boost from the top of the ticket arguably should have been enough to put Mills over the top. Rep. Nolan is openly talking about running for Governor, so the 8th District could come open.
