Mason-Dixon Polling & Strategies again went into the field (10/3-9; 625 FL-26 likely voters) to test south Florida’s 26th Congressional District. As has been the case for weeks, we again see polling results that find the two major party candidates languishing in a virtual tie. The actual ballot test finds Rep. Carlos Curbelo (R-Miami) barely leading Democratic challenger Debbie Mucarsel-Powell, 46-45%. Despite this being a 57-40% Clinton district, Rep. Curbelo was able to win re-election with a 12-point margin in 2016.
