So far, the Arizona Governor’s race has not attracted much national attention, likely because the Democrats do not have a name candidate challenging first-term Gov. Doug Ducey (R). According to a new Arizona-based Data Orbital firm poll (6/25-27; 550 AZ likely Democratic primary voters), Arizona State professor David Garcia has jumped out to a 33-11% Democratic primary lead over Assistant state Senate Minority Leader Steve Farley (D-Pima County). Lutheran minister Kelly Fryer is a distant third with 6% support. Gov. Ducey is favored for re-election. The Arizona primary is August 28th.
